For the current Bethesda roadmap underway, we already know the firm’s most ambitious game in recent years is slated to ship later this fall. Yes, Starfield is arriving as an Xbox Series X|S exclusive in November. Additionally, Redfall is another projected release for the near future, but little detail has arose on what it will truly be or when to expect its arrival.

Other notable IPs such as The Elder Scrolls VI & Fallout 5 were respectively pressed upon previously and it will be years until we see those games manifest wholly. But, what about new IPs altogether? Well, Twitter user @skullziTV recently uncovered a newly filed trademark by Bethesda on a new entity, Spyteam.

Noted, although the new trademark might be new to many readers, Bethesda has established filings for Spyteam in the past as well which the Twitter user reported before. This alongside a separate trademark made for Giant Monster News was filed previously.

Understanding what Spyteam could potentially be is left to greater speculation from a previous project. @skullziTV understands that the IP could be a project for the previously established Human Head Studios before Bethesda acquired the team, renaming it to Roundhouse Studios. In a LinkedIn description for one former developer, it describes the project to be a “online team-based PvPvE third-person shooter based on a major comic license”.

In terms of other potential Bethesda projects, the firm is reported to be discussing a new endeavor with Obsidian Entertainment. As both are now subsidiaries of Microsoft, it is said by GameBeats’ Jeff Grubb that a sequel to Fallout: New Vegas is underway. However, there has yet to be an official confirmation on the matter.

Also, id Software appears to be in search for new candidates on its next project. From the job listings discovered, it appears the team is in search for a potential hiree familiar with the Doom gameplay extensively – suggesting the firm is planning to working on a third entry.
