Spyro: A Realm Beyond Announced For Release In 2027

During the Xbox Games Showcase, Activision and Toys for Bob revealed Spyro: A Realm Beyond, a brand-new Spyro adventure game is releasing in Spring 2027.

“Built to welcome a new generation while giving longtime fans something entirely fresh, Spyro: A Realm Beyond invites players to explore, discover, and take flight like never before. That’s right; not gliding, not a limited set of flight levels. True dragon flight.”

This will be the first time in almost twenty years that Spyro returns in a completely original adventure that features a brand new world, expanded exploration and new gameplay that evolves the classic experience in exciting ways.

Voice actor Tom Kenny was also announced to return to voice Spyro bringing the purple dragon into a bold new era.

Spyro: A Realm Beyond will release on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
