Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family/PC Game Pass Opens To New Regions

When engaging with users, Microsoft continues to invest in delivering its services to other territories. For Xbox Game Pass, many users across the globe can utilize the service on console. But, it is still fairly limited when it comes to PC Game Pass. Even Xbox Cloud Gaming has a sufficient number of supported territories offered. Now, television updates are on the horizon for the platform.

As for other upcoming integrated prospects from the Xbox firm, its service tier Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan is slowly gaining momentum. The service received a soft launch in Colombia and Ireland last year. Additionally, the service did list prices which translated into USD does show to be a fair deal for combined accounts.

Recently, Microsoft announced there is a new handful of regions to welcome Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family: Chile, Hungary, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sweden. Not only that, but PC Game Pass is welcoming dozens of new territories to this as well. You can read the full list below:

“As a part of our mission to expand the joy and community of gaming to every player in the world, we’re excited to announce we’re bringing a preview of PC Game Pass to 40 new countries for the first time ever,” Xbox Gaming Marketing corporate vice president Jerret West writes. Of course, this also includes EA Play as well for the service which was added in the past too.

“We’re always looking for ways to offer players more choice and value in how they discover and experience games with their friends and family,” Enrico Toro, Xbox Game Pass director of product marketing writes. “Xbox players […] will be able to join a plan that enables up to five friends and family members to share Game Pass Ultimate benefits.”
