Upon exploring what games Rockstar Game has planned in the near future, everyone’s guess is Grand Theft Auto VI. And rightfully so – a heap of developer gameplay was leaked online previously. Not only that, the firm also addressed that it is already pursuing the next big release for the series too. So what about right now though?

Well, nothing really, of course. But, that is not to say avid players are being rewarded. Over on GTA+, the GTA Online subscription catered to active users, the firm is offering its repertoire of legacy releases via the service. This kicked off with the entirety of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition back in September.

Now, this bonus for users is continuing to expand. Although this first trio of titles was for those subscribed on console, the new update now expands to users playing on mobile as well. In that, both Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories & Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars are to be included alongside the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition for GTA+ subscribers.

“Beginning today, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars are now available for GTA+ Members to play on compatible iOS and Android devices,” Rockstar Games writes. “These games join Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, in the rotating assortment of classic Rockstar Games titles that remain available to GTA+ Members as part of their Membership benefits for as long as they’re featured in the Games Included With GTA+ library.”

Rockstar Games continues: “Anyone who downloads the latest versions of these titles from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store can enjoy a one-time, 30-minute free trial with the option to purchase the full game, while GTA+ Members can also unlock full game access by logging in with the Rockstar Games Social Club account that is connected to their console with an active GTA+ Membership.”

As for other mobile news for Grand Theft Auto, it is reported that Netflix is in search to offer these games on its smartphone platform. The Wall Street Journal tells an effort to offer a pre-existing title or include an entirely new project altogether. You can read the full report by heading here.

Do you plan to revisit either of these Grand Theft Auto mobile games via GTA+?
