At the start of the year, it was revealed that Best Buy would start removing all physical media from its stores as soon as possible. And now it looks like the reality is starting to come to a Best Buy near you as an image was shared online by @Sultan0fSleaze of a store clearing out of its Movie and TV displays.

Another post on X (Twitter) shared online shows a different Best Buy store completely empty of its TV Show Collections and Steelbooks.

Images of video game sections have yet to surface online as it seems Best Buy only just started with Movie and TV Show collections. Walmart seems to be the other major retailer that will start getting rid of its physical media section starting with Xbox. They already have gotten rid of any Starfield physical units as of the start of February and we anticipate more action will come to Xbox physical media.
