Mouse P.I. For Hire includes combat encounters mixed with story missions, and the boss fights appear as major battles during the campaign. The game has a case-based campaign with 20+ missions, so you don’t free-roam to find them. This enemy type is special, powerful enemies tied to story missions, designed as bigger, more strategic fights. Defeating them can be challenging, as most of them spawn the smaller mobs that attack you mid-fight to interrupt your attacks.
All Bosses in Mouse P.I. For Hire
Bosses in Mouse P.I. For Hire are stronger than normal enemies and usually appear at the end of important levels or story cases. They have special attacks or multiple phases and are tied to important story moments. There are a total of 18 bosses in the game, and defeating each is very challenging. Watchamacallit has three distinct encounters, and each comes with a different attack pattern.
1. How to Defeat Prima Donna
You fight the Prima Donna in the Mouseburg Opera scene. This boss is encountered after escaping the Mouseburg Opera Basement. Approach the cannon and press E to rotate it to avoid the boss’s attack. Prima Donna has slow movement, and she remains still between her attack animations.

I recommend using a dash and shotgun combo to defeat the boss. Landing multiple close hits can stagger her briefly, so prefer using stagger windows to reload or reposition. Standing still on the stage allows the boss to attack you, so avoid being in one place. Watch out for the falling objects that start appearing during the fight.
2. How to Defeat Robo-Betty Wachamacallit-001
Robo-Betty is a main story boss, and she appears in a secret underground laboratory beneath Mouseburg. You can reach her by progressing through a late-game case mission. The area is a high-tech lab dungeon filled with traps, so navigate carefully. Go through the stairs, and the platform in the center of this arena lifts up from below. This boss is fixed in one place and shoots you all around the arena. The electric field falls on the boss, giving it life.

Avoid its laser attack and use the shotgun to deal massive damage in this first encounter. Take cover behind the elevated glass platform to avoid taking the damage from the rotating laser attack. Make sure to peel-shoot between laser bursts and use cover constantly. I recommend learning the attack pattern on the boss and coming up with the best strategy to take her out.
3. How to Defeat Robo-Betty Wachamacallit-002
Robo-Betty moves with the help of a wheel to approach your with high speed. This encounter doesn’t have the beam attack, so the boss only approaches and attacks you. Make sure to maintain a good distance from her and use the shotgun to deal massive damage.

Standing in one area can lead you to trouble, as the boss can quickly approach and kill you instantly. This version of Robo-Betty is faster, more aggressive, and equipped with upgraded weapons like claws. Use a dash to avoid claw rushes and use heavy weapons for close-punishing damage.
4. How to Defeat Robo-Betty Wachamacallit-003
This version of Rebo-Betty can run on its feet very quickly and attack you if you don’t pay attention. Her minions also attack you during the fight, so prefer killing them first before focusing on the boss. A single shot from the shotgun is enough to take a minion. Stay behind the defensive glass and use the right opportunity to attack the boss.
Robo-Betty Wachamacallit-003
Wachamacallit-003 is the final evolved form of the Robo-Betty sequence. She uses high-damage laser beam attacks, fast claw attacks, drone swarms, and heavy arena traps during the combat. Make sure to dash through safe zones between attacks and hide behind the cover when she charges with laser attacks. Attack only when the beam ends, the claw combo finishes, or she repositions herself.
5. How to Defeat Vic Gatore
Vic Gatore is found while tracking down the Cheeselegger Foreman in Mouse P.I. For Hire. Eliminate the cluster of Cheeseleggers before facing the boss. This elite enemy is a large alligator who uses a Gatling gun to deal damage to you. Vic Gatore has a slow moment and is of a big size, allowing you to deal damage quickly. The boss approaches you and becomes stationary to fire this gun.

I recommend using the environment and then circling around him to quickly take him down. Prefer using the Devarnisher to deal fire damage and then switch to the shotgun or James Gun to shred all the bullets into him. He constantly changes his position, so change your strategy based on the fight situation. The smaller alligators appear in the mid-fight, so eliminate them before focusing on the boss.
6. How to Defeat Crooked Officer
Crooked Officer is found in the same area where you obtain the Loose Cannon. However, the boss gets inside the building, so get this cannon and aim at the building to shoot it. Use your secondary weapon to defeat the smaller enemies right after they spawn in an arena.

Make your way inside the other building and get to the rooftop. Use the Loose Cannon and aim at the window of the building in front of you to deal damage to the boss. Hitting the boss directly with your weapon doesn’t take his health, but destroying the building takes its health quickly. The smaller enemies can interrupt your attack, so take them out in the first place.
7. How to Defeat Mad Cultist
Mad Cultist is found while completing the Damp Evidence mission. The objective here for you is to travel through the Warp-Pipe and explore the mansion till you encounter the boss. The boss appears on the upper platform in the arena and quickly moves from one place to another.

He shoots the ground to destroy the floor of the arena, so stay under the platform and shoot at him with your weapon, like Boomstick or Shotgun. The movement of Mad Cultist is very fast, requiring your aim to be perfect to land a critical hit. The floor of the arena is mostly destroyed, so move carefully while shooting the boss or repositioning.
8. How to Defeat MiceGuffin MacLeod
MiceGuffin MacLeod is found while reaching the pier and escapes during the Damp Evidence mission in Mouse P.I. For Hire. The boss appears just when you approach the aircraft. He comes with the ship and destroys the path that you took to reach the plane. New platforms appeared over the water in a sequence, so jump over them to avoid taking damage and shoot at the boss.
MiceGuffin MacLeod
Defeat the smaller flying enemies before aiming at the boss to avoid being interrupted. Use the Loose Cannon when the boss’s ship is at a distance to deal explosive damage. MiceGuffin MacLeod uses the weapon to throw 3~4 smaller balls to deal massive damage to you, so dodge them at the right moment. Once you take all his health, the flying enemies attack the boss.
9. How to Defeat Third Wife
Third Wife is the ghost-type boss that appears while solving the Three Wives problem during White Lies and Dark Secrets mission. Explore the lower caves and follow the cave breach to encounter this boss. Defeat the smaller skeleton enemies before focusing on the boss to avoid being interrupted. Third Wife can vanish at any time, so quickly shoot at her when she appears.

The smaller mobs have the guns that they use to attack you, so be aware of them. I recommend using the James Gun to take out the boss’s health quickly. The best possible way to defeat the boss is to take out your torch, get closer to the boss, and aim at it. Use your weapon when the boss is surrounded by the protective shield to break it, and then follow up with the flashlight.
10. How to Defeat Hitman
Hitman is the story progression boss that appears while completing: It all points here, right? Mission. You need to first investigate Curd’s murder scene and play the Secret Show games to win tickets. Complete Get more tickets, win the prize, Aim, aim, windowframe!, and Leave no bottle standing! to encounter the Hitman.

The boss can disappear quickly while shooting at it and appears on the other side of the room. Use the James Gun to deal massive damage to the boss quickly. The boss has 4~5 spawning locations inside the arena, so focus on all of them when he disappears.
11. How to Defeat Cpt. Simms
Cpt. Simms is located while completing the To Catch a Mockingmouse mission in Mouse P.I. Fir Hire. You need to get the BMP Membership Card and show the card to the bouncer. Snap a damning photo of Cpt. Simms and defeat the BMP Enforcer to encounter the boss. Use the best weapon, like James Gun, to defeat all the smaller enemies before eliminating the boss. Killing these melee enemies can take much time, so take cover to take them out quickly.

Once defeated, move to the rooftop to use the cannon to deal damage to the boss inside the aircraft. Be aware of the boss’s attacks that can take much of your health. There are three cannons on the roof, so use the one that gives perfect aim at the moving plane. Take out the smaller enemies that spawn while focusing on the boss because they can interrupt your attack and deal damage.
12. How to Defeat Professor Von Harzer
Professor Von Harzer appears while completing the Glugging From The Deep mission. You need to obtain Eddy’s diving helmet and dive underwater. Find Ze Submarine and reach Ze Submarine to confront Ze Professor. Defeat the smaller weapon-wielding enemies before reaching the boss. These mobs are equipping the weapons, so don’t stand in one position.

Once you reach the top floor, use your weapon to destroy the mechanism. Make sure to demolish all the shooting mechanisms to deal damage to the boss. Breaking all the mechanisms with the best weapon lets you defeat the boss.
13. How to Defeat Beast Fatale
Beast Fatale is found while completing the “Fatal Repulsion” by Tinsel Bros. mission in Mouse P.I. For Hire. The objective is to investigate the studio and find the switches. Find the second switch and eliminate the Beast Fatale.

The boss fires the candles towards you to deal damage to you. Dodge the attack and use the cover to shoot the Beast Fatale. Use the Loose Cannon to attack the boss when he’s at a distance and then switch to the James Gun to deal continuous damage.
14. How to Defeat Judge Fatale

Right after defeating the Beast Fatale, the Judge Fatale appears and starts attacking you. The smaller enemies appear in the arena to attack you, so use the weapon to take them out first. The boss stands on the upper platform, so use the Loose Cannon to chip his health quickly. Killing these bosses is pretty easy and can be done very quickly.
15. How to Defeat Reginald Shingler

Reginald Shingler appears while completing the “Fatal Repulsion” by Tinsel Bros. mission after defeating Judge Fatale. This fight takes place inside the fake crop field and uses the weapon to attack you. Kill the smaller enemies before focusing on the main boss to avoid being interrupted. Most of these enemies are wielding the shield, making it difficult to take them out. Use the Loose Cannon to deal damage to the boss when he’s standing afar.
16. How to Defeat Milford Soyer Final Boss

Milford Soyer is the final boss in Mouse P.I. For Hire that appears while completing the Big Mouse Little Hope mission. This is the toughest and longest fight in the game due to the laser beam attack and dodging the attacks. Defeat the smaller enemies before focusing on the final boss. Shoot the boss who is standing on the higher ground while tackling the smaller enemies at the same time. I recommend using the Loose Cannon to deal massive damage to the boss to take him out.
