FragPunk is a new 5v5 hero shooter coming to Xbox and PC

The Xbox Games Showcase unveiled an exciting lineup of 30 games, including 17 first-party titles for Xbox. Among the standout reveals was FragPunk, an innovative competitive FPS set to revolutionize gaming. In FragPunk, players engage in adrenaline-fueled, squad-based combat within a dynamic 5v5 hero shooter arena, where each round’s rules are dictated by activating strategic power-up cards.

FragPunk promises lightning-paced action, featuring a diverse array of gameplay synergies and tactical counterplays. With over 70 shard cards, 10 distinct heroes, 14 weapons to wield, and 4 meticulously crafted maps, every match offers a fresh and exhilarating experience. From enhancing jump abilities to manipulating attack dynamics and imbuing bullets with elemental powers like flame or lightning, the possibilities in FragPunk are limitless. Additionally, the game introduces innovative features such as team resurrection, adding layers of strategic depth to the gameplay.

Developed by Bad Guitar Studio in collaboration with NetEase Games, FragPunk is scheduled for release in 2025, on both Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Players interested can wishlist the game on either platform now.
