Jet Set Radio, Craxy Taxi New Leaks Points To Nearing Announcements

The upcoming release plans for Sega appears to be ramping up immensely for 2026. Last month ,Ryu Ga Gotoku unveiled the full look into Stranger Than Heaven providing a winter launch window. Additionally, it was also confirmed through its financial report that four major releases are set to release this fiscal year which extends into calendar year 2027.

Concerning what might be included is not specific. One guess would be Persona 4 Revival. While likely outside of that purview, legitimate-looking leaks for Persona 6 did surface recently that shares a new blonde protagonist and its Yokohama setting. One project that is surely not to release now is the long anticipated ‘Super Game’ initiative that the publisher was working on in incubation the past few years. It was officially canceled.

In the past week, a slew of leaks appeared online disclosing new information on upcoming Sega projects. Those that are likely to be addressed this month are Jet Set Radio & Crazy Taxi. Online, a leaked trailer for the Jet Set Radio rebooted has surfaced which signifies it will be released at an upcoming showcase.

On X, leaker @MajorPlayeix shared details pertaining to the trailer predating the footage being release early. In it, the leaker disclosed that a larger trailer for the game would be releasing somewhere soon. In the same thread, it was also shared that a new character will be introduced with the reboot – Sierra. The character will be casted alongside the likes of Beat & Gum.

As for Crazy Taxi, it was expressed that the game is to release ahead of Jet Set Radio. The leaker did elaborate some posts are now deleted, but evidence still points to a soon announcement for that game too. Last month, Sega on the official Crazy Taxi account made a post for the first time in years which suggests it is likely a new update is happening this month.
