Hazelight Studios and EA have officially released its latest co-op action-adventure game, Split Fiction on March 6, 2025. It features Mio and Zeo, two contrasting writers. One writes sci-fi and the other writes fantasy – who become trapped in their own stories after being hooked up to a machine designed to steal their creative ideas.
Each character relies on one another to break free of their memories in-tact, working together to master a variety of abilities and overcome diverse challenges while jumping between sci-fi and fantasy worlds.
Is Split Fiction Available On Nintendo Switch?
Split Fiction is available to play on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It is currently not available on the Nintendo Switch, and Hazelight has not indicated that it will be. With the Nintendo Switch 2 set to release this year, it’s possible that Split Fiction could be available on the console.
We did see It Takes Two released on the Nintendo Switch but it was also released on PS4 and Xbox One. Unlike Split Fiction which is only on next-gen hardware.
In other news, a Split Fiction movie is reportedly in the works and the game has sold over 2 million copies within just its first week of release.
