Chapter 2 in Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of missions to choose from, such as Who Is Not Without Sin. Next up is Paying A Social Call featuring Kieran. In this walkthrough, we will provide all the information you need to complete it.
How Long Is Paying A Social Call?
Paying A Social Call isn’t a long mission. It’s more of a medium-sized mission with some action featuring John Marston and Bill.
Paying A Social Call Guide
To begin this mission, you’ll want to go back to the Horseshoe Overlook and speak to Kieran, who is marked with K on the map. You’ll see Kieran is tied up against a tree as he was involved with the O’Driscolls. Arthur, Bill, and John force him to give them more information. In the cutscene, Bill will try to cut his balls off in an attempt to get Kieran to lead you to more information on the O’Driscolls.
After the cutscene Mount your Horse and follow the gang as you go to the O’Driscolls’ camp.
When you get to your destination Follow Kieran, and then another cutscene will appear as they plan to ambush the O’Driscolls.
You will be given the option to lead into killing the enemies or have Bill do the first stealth attack. It’s advised that you should probably take the lead, as this will help with the Gold Medal in this mission.
After Bill kills the first enemy, you can move forward with John Marston, and both of you will take an enemy to do a stealth kill. Next, move up again and overlook the enemy campsite. You will also have the option to send John or take the lead to stealth kill another enemy.
Now you can have the gang move on in at the enemies, causing chaos, forcing you to take your guns out, and killing them all. Once the gunfight is over, head over to the cabin and open the door. Someone will jump out and land on you. Kieran will shoot him dead. Bill and John will take Kieran back, while Arthur will need to search the cabin for clues relating to Colm O’Driscoll.
When searching the cabin, go right to the fireplace, where you’ll need to take the Double Barreled Shotgun and Search the Chimney.
After taking the shotgun, you are forced to clean the gun. Open the Weapon Wheel and hit the action button to clean. Once you clean the Shotgun, the Paying A Social Call mission will be completed.
How To Unlock Gold Medal
There are four challenges to complete in order to get the Gold Medal in Paying A Social Call.
- Silently kill 4 O’Driscolls
- Get 12 headshots
- Complete with at least 80% accuracy
- Complete the mission without taking any health items.
