The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios released Gears of War: Reloaded on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC earlier this week. It’s a complete remaster of the original Gears of War title that was previously Gears of War Ultimate Edition, but now it’s enhanced in 4K along with other features.
The biggest part of Gears of War: Reloaded was that it was the first time the series was released on PlayStation. So far, it looks like the game has been off to a great start.
The Coalition announced that Gears of War: Reloaded reached over 1 million players worldwide across all platforms.

Total sales numbers have not been revealed. The player count could also be impacted by its availability to owners of Gears of War Ultimate Edition and it being on Game Pass.
Another game that released on Xbox Series earlier this week was Helldivers 2. Since its launch on Xbox the game saw over 500K players across all platforms. It’s safe to say that releasing the Halo: ODST crossover on Helldivers 2 the day it came to Xbox was a smart idea.
