
In MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, there are plenty of boss fights, including mini-boss battles and even a three-part fight. During the Bandel’s Laboratory case, you’ll run into Robo Betty three different times. The first time you run into her, it’s known as the “Watchamacallit-001”.
Defeat Watchamacallit-001
This is the first somewhat difficult boss fight you’ll run into in the game. The Watchamacallit-001 will shoot two lines of electricity, and it’ll spin, making you jump constantly to avoid getting hurt. Luckily, around the stage are plenty of health and ammo.
There will be a couple of points where the Watchamacallit-001 will have an auto aim at you and say “Gamma Ray”, and you’ll notice windows come up. There is no escaping this, and you will need to take cover behind the glass window until this phase is over, which lasts about 4 seconds.
When she is on the last part of her health she will become a little more difficult and this is where you’ll want to start using health if you didn’t need to use it already.
Weapons To Use
It’s recommended that you use the Devarnisher, the new gun you likely ran into just before fighting the first part of Robo Betty. If you use this gun, it will cause extra damage because it has a burn effect on enemies. Keep using the Devarnisher, throw dynamites when needed, and you may even need to use the Micer.
There is plenty of ammo and TNT to pick up on the stage in order to defeat her.
Collectibles
After defeating this portion of Bandel’s Laboratory, there is a collectible. You’ll notice, to the left of the stage, there are stairs that were previously blocked, including the room in the back that has coins to collect.
You’ll see a weapon blueprint or a “B.A.N.G” which allows you to upgrade your weapon at Tammy’s shop. This is located on a desk and just hit the action button to collect it.
Next, go upstairs where you’ll meet Igorrr, who is stuck in a bird cage. You can shoot him down on the rope up top that is highlighted in order to free him. You don’t necessarily get any collectibles, but it adds more to the dialogue by talking to him.
