sonic 4 wrapped production

It’s official, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 has wrapped production today as director Jeff Fowler made the announcement on X today. The photo he shared gives us the first look at the Metal Sonic figure used for recording.

According to Jeff Fowler, they have filmed the BEST Sonic Movie thus far.

With Sonic 4 wrapping production, the job is not done yet. The physical filming is completed but the rest of the work is with the editing team, obviously.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on March 17, 2027. The movie not only features Metal Sonic for the first time, but also Amy, who will be voiced by Kristen Bell. The cast includes Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Keanu Reeves, and more.

2027 is going to be a strong year for video game adaptations. Not only is Sonic 4 coming out, The Legend of Zelda and A Minecraft Sequel are also scheduled to release.
