Nintendo has updated the EU listing for Splatoon Raiders, which now features a PEGI 7 age rating. This was first spotted by Splatoon fan, Noko, on X (Twitter). This was just recently added, since a few days ago, the listing for the new Splatoon didn’t have any rating.
Usually, when a game starts to receive a rating, it’s an indication that another reveal is coming soon, or it could be close to release. Splatoon Raiders is the first spinoff of the series to be released, and it’s exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. It was announced last year in Nintendo’s June 2025 Direct.
Interestingly, there have been multiple new ratings for games on the Switch 2 lately. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was the most recent to receive a rating for the console. In the last month, we’ve also seen Devil May Cry 5 get rated for the Switch 2.
Not only could the Raiders listing indicate a release soon, but if it’s related to any other Switch 2 games getting ratings, we could be getting a Nintendo Direct in the near future. However, the company has not given a single hint of what’s coming next.
When do you think Splatoon Raiders will release?
