Sony CEO Kaz Hirai, has announced that the PS4 has sold 6.2 million units over 2016 Holiday season.

Sony has announced at the company’s CES keynote, the PlayStation 4 has sold 53 million units worldwide, according to  Sony CEO Kaz Hirai. He also announced that the PlayStation 4 sold over 6.2 million units over the 2016 holiday season, which was likely helped by the release of the PlayStation 4 slim and PlayStation 4 Pro. And while Sony doesn’t have any new major  hardware due for 2017. The amount of PlayStation exclusive due this year is insane and will likely help Sony sell even more PS4’s along with PSVR.
