LEGO City Undercover on the Nintendo Switch requires a 13GB download even with a cartridge

It has been discovered on the LEGO City Undercover game case for the Switch that there is a note on the back advises that up to 13GB is required for the “game download”. Initially the size of the game was to be 7.1 GB and this could mean the additional amount is needed for data. However, at this stage it’s still unclear whether or not this is for the LEGO City Undercover internet connection that the packaging also mentions is required, or if it’s to facilitate for certain features in the game.

When it comes to the Switch and storage you are going to need to get more storage as it only comes with 32GB and especially when more games launch for the system in the coming months.
LEGO City Undercover launches April 4th in North America and April 7th in Europe.
