Monster Hunter fans rejoice! Monster Hunter World will not be a 3DS or Wii U exclusive, like the most recent games in the franchise. It is going to be an open-world RPG with online co-op that will allow players in the west AND Japan play with each other, and all enjoy the newest and possibly greatest installment of the popular series. From what we have been shown at E3 so far, the game looks seamless, beautiful, and the world seems to be ALIVE. Danger lurks everywhere as you do what the name implies, hunt monsters. Promised to be released in early 2018, perhaps we can hope for some time around March. In the meantime, play some Monster Hunter 4 and enjoy this gameplay trailer.
