Mario Kart Tour announced for mobile

Nintendo announced via Twitter that they are currently working on a Mario Kart title for mobile devices. Mario Kart Tour will be Nintendo’s first foray into a mobile version of the extremely popular Kart series. After today’s news that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch has surpassed 7.33 million sales worldwide, it’s safe to say it is a wildly popular franchise. Not much is known about this mobile title, but we look forward to hearing details and seeing how they handle the gameplay on touch controls. Mario Kart Tour will be available sometime in the fiscal year ending in March 2019.
