Back in May Rage 2 was leaked out of nowhere and since then has been on an interesting journey following the official announcement of the post-apocalyptic FPS. Most recently at this year’s Game Awards, we now have a confirmed launch date for the upcoming title.

In the new trailer showing off some of the mayhem that’s in the new title, the trailer concludes with the release date for mid-May of 2019.

Reflecting back on the original 2011 title, the anticipated sequel has done more than just a simple make over as there’s a complete overhaul in gameplay, graphics, and fun brutality to get caught up in the wastes.

Rage 2 will be available on May 14, 2019 for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
