Lil Capped Brings First Online Championship To Rectify Esports

Lil Capped was brought to the Rectify Esports team in late October of 2018 with his first event under the organization being in November at DreamHack Atlanta in the world championship. He placed Top 6 in singles and Top 8 in doubles that event and from there on we knew we had a special player here at Rectify.

Year Four of Brawlhalla is already a little over half way done and there has been a lot going on for our professional player. The year started out with the Winter Championships being the first online tournament of the year and then Final Round 2019 being the first LAN of the year where in singles it was a disappointing placement in the Top 20, but placing Top 8 with Ethan in the Atlanta Tournament.

Recently, Lil Capped attended Low Tier City in Arlington, Texas at the Esports Stadium where he placed 3rd in doubles with European player, Cake. In singles Capped placed Top 10 at the event.

This past weekend of July 27-28 was the Brawlhalla Summer Championship where its online for both 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments. The first day Lil Capped placed 13th which we know he wasn’t happy with, but the loss comes from his 2v2 partner Ithrow. July 28th, 2019 is the day that Lil Capped helps bring the first ever online championship to Rectify Esports and it was in the 2v2 Brawlhalla Summer Championship!

We can’t wait to see this duo show off more at a LAN and we can’t wait to see Lil Capped bring more action on August 23rd at Shine 2019 and early September at DreamHack Montreal.
