Arcade1Up announced Basic Fun! acquired select assets of the company

It has been rumored for the last couple of weeks that Arcade1Up was going to have major news about the company moving forward. Today, Arcade1Up announced that Basic Fun! has acquired select assets of Arcade1Up, and they intend to support the home arcade category and existing Arcade1Up products currently in the market.

The announcement was shared in a graphic via Facebook and Instagram:

“This asset acquisition reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding our presence in the home arcade space, supporting current Arcade1Up titles and products alongside our own existing arcade offerings”.

We’ll have more to share in the New Year and look forward to continuing to serve the arcade fan community. Game On!

Basic Fun is known for its innovative children’s entertainment products, offering a variety of toys, including Care Bear merchandise.

Arcade1Up hasn’t released many new arcade machines recently, but they did release the SpongeBob SquarePants Claw Machine, which is exclusively available at Costco stores.
