Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have officially revealed Battlefield 6 Battle Royale. The new game mode will begin playtests this week as part of the Battlefield Labs.
Battlefield 6 Battle Royale will have one large map that has been built for the Battle Royale experience. It features a variety of tactical Points of Interest, each with unique layouts and themes that offer different gameplay opportunities.
The Battle Royale game mode in Battlefield 6 will feature 100 players with 25 four-player squads fighting to be the last squad standing. There will be different ways to communicate with your squad such as pinging, texting, or VOIP.
Most importantly, destruction will be everywhere in the mode, which is what Battlefield is most known for. You can create pathways through walls, toppling buildings, and more.
EA did not say if the game mode would be available the day Battlefield 6 releases.
Battlefield 6 releases on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. There will be no early access.
