Nintendo Music adds CarPlay, Android Auto support, Web Player and more

Nintendo has released a new update for Nintendo Music on iOS and Android devices. The updated version 1.6.0 adds support for devices with bigger screens, such as iPads, and also adds Apple CarPlay support that includes Siri functionality, and it has Android Auto. This will allow users to safely search and go between tracks while driving.

Nintendo Music now has its own website, so you can browse through the entire music library on a computer via a web browser.

Along with this update for Nintendo Music, Mario Kart World’s official soundtrack has been added to the service. It’s free for Nintendo Switch Online members. 130 songs arrive with the addition of Mario Kart World, with a total runtime of over 4 hours. It is only excluding the Free Roam tracks, which are planned to be added in future updates.

Apple:

・ The app now supports iPad.
・ The app now supports CarPlay and can be used with your car’s built-in display.
・ The app now supports searching for tracks with Siri.

Android:

・ The app now supports full-screen display on large-screen devices such as tablets and foldable devices.
・ The app now supports Android Auto and can be used with your car’s built-in display and voice commands
