Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 released on October 25, 2024, across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass for the first time. Activision and Microsoft announced that Black Ops 6 had the biggest Call of Duty 3-day opening weekend in the history of the franchise.
“Last week’s launch of Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty release ever, setting a record for day one players, as well as Game Pass subscriber adds on launch day. Unit sales on PlayStation and Steam were also up over 60 percent year-over-year,” said Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 was #1 in Total Players, #1 in Hours Played, and #1 in the Total Players. This success is without a doubt helped by the game being available on Xbox and PC Game Pass. Those who subscribe to the service have access to the latest Call of Duty game which has never happened before at launch.
We saw Modern Warfare III join Game Pass earlier this year, but that was already far into the game’s life.
As of November 1st, Nuketown has officially joined Black Ops 6 with a 24/7 playlist as well.
