Bungie claims Xbox One X is being optimized to provide “the best social action game experience” across the Xbox One family. Mark Noseworthy, Destiny 2 Project Lead, took it to Twitter to explain Bungie “would never hold back game performance to appease a partner” in this case, Mark refers partner to Playstation platform.
He then further says all consoles [Xbox One X, Xbox One, PS4, PS4 Pro] will run at 30FPS “to deliver Destiny 2’s AI counts, environment sizes and the number of players. They are all CPU-bound.”

Bungie’s priority right now is on launch consoles for Destiny 2 to provide the best experience for its players. Xbox One X launches November 7th and we can’t wait to see if Bungie has a 4K support patch ready at launch.
