Developer PixelOpus Paints Concrete Genie For October Launch

One of the most highly anticipated virtual reality titles that Sony Interactive Entertainment has shown off is Concrete Genie from San Mateo-based studio PixelOpus. Since the title’s initial announcement back in October 2017, the publisher about a year following revealed that the game will be facing a delay to focus on perfecting the VR title’s experience with a release timeframe aimed for Spring in the year coming.

However, that was not the case as we have already witnessed leading into the Summer currently. But now, Sony Interactive Entertainment have revealed that the official date for Concrete Genie will be coming this coming in early-October.

Among the slated Fall launch date for the approaching virtual reality title, PixelOpus has also disclosed what will be comprised of the Digital Deluxe version of the game. Revealing that the pricier iteration will offer fans the full game of course, digital soundtrack, digital art book, PSN avatars, themes, and the Pond Design Pack.

Alongside the cemented release date for the game, the developer also revealed that a Photo Mode for the game is planned to be available for players to capture their own creations when the game launches later this year. Which honestly would have been a crime if the game shipped with no plans to include some sort of picture-taking feature.
