The lengths that the Fallout franchise has reached cannot be shrugged off. Even with the weight of the Amazon Prime show now, there is plenty to be excited about. Speaking of the live-action television series, Season 2 is set to release later this December. However, there is more to look forward to connected to the games as well.
It was announced recently that a new story expansion is coming to Fallout 76 – Burning Springs. The new free update is advertised to bridge the games with the TV show and feature Walton Goggins’ The Ghoul as he reprises his role for the add-on. For more on the new content, we will likely expect it at the Fallout Day Broadcast this week.
As for one of the towering announcements, Bethesda revealed Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. The game comes bundled with all included content for current consoles & PC. Also, Nintendo Switch 2 is fixed for a proper release too – that is, in 2026. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“To mark the occasion, Bethesda Game Studios is thrilled to announce Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. This is the ultimate celebration of a beloved classic, bringing together the complete Fallout 4 experience,” the description reads. “This special release includes the base game and the six official add-ons: Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and the Workshop expansions. “But that’s not all! The Anniversary Edition also bundles over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, including fan favorites and previously unreleased items designed to enhance your journey. From new weapons and different Dogmeat breeds like a husky or a Dalmatian, to gameplay tweaks and quest expansions, there’s something for every Vault Dweller.”
It continues: “The Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition introduces a brand-new in-game Creations menu, making it easier than ever to discover, download and enjoy content from professional developers and passionate enthusiasts alike. That means you’ll see even more new content coming to the Commonwealth, ready to transform your adventure in exciting new ways.”
