Cyber Attack is back in Call of Duty and this time it’s featured in Modern Warfare II. Infinity Ward announced through Twitter yesterday that the mode is now available to play. The last time we saw Cyber Attack in a Call of Duty game was Modern Warfare 2019 where it stayed in the game full time.
This was part of the Season 1: Reloaded content that was announced over a week ago that included Control as part of the additions. Warzone also received the Rocket League inspired Warzone Cup mode with this season.
If you aren’t sure what Cyber Attack exactly is, here is a good explanation:
“Cyber Attack is a hybrid of Sabotage in earlier Call of Duty games and Search and Destroy, but mostly functions similarly to Search and Rescue from Call of Duty: Ghosts, where two teams fight to retrieve an EMP device and use it to destroy the opposing team’s Data Center.”
There was no question that Modern Warfare II was in need of new playlists to choose from in-game as we stated in our review of Infinity Ward’s latest hit. This goes perfectly with the nine game modes found in November via a leaker.
For a limited time Shipmas has also made an appearance in Modern Warfare II until January 4th to celebrate the Holidays.
This week in #MWII:
