Hopefully you have not forgotten since you have been busy with the recently new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered that hit the PlayStation Store this week, but developer Infinity Ward has more announcements regarding the 2019 released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It was revealed just shortly before that Season 3 for the ongoing first-person shooter will be arriving as soon as next week.

According to the series’ official twitter account, it was announced that the third content season will be arriving to Modern Warfare this coming Wednesday on April 8.

For what the next segment of the online presence for Call of Duty will offer, there is not much to expand from the image that was provided. However, the picture does feature that both Modern Warfare alongside Warzone will be receiving new additions following the commencement of Season 3. But that is all that can really be gathered from the initial announcement today.

It is expected that Infinity Ward/Activision will share more on the next season for the game with either a roadmap or a respected trailer as we press closer to the release date for Season 3. Following the commencement of Season 2 at the beginning of February, it was presumed that each Season arriving to Modern Warfare would entail additions from Infinity Ward’s prior work. Season 1 offering maps from Call of Duty 4, Season 2 reintroducing Rust from Modern Warfare 2, and now Season 3 is assumed to carry out that pattern with Modern Warfare 3 additions.
