Justin Roiland resigned from Squanch Games on January 16

Rick and Morty co-creator, Justin Roiland has been in the news a lot recently as Adult Swim cut ties with him following Domestic Violence charges. Justin helped created what was the biggest title that launched in December, High on Life.

Squanch Games released a statement saying that Roiland sent in his resignation on January 16, 2023. They also went on to say that the passionate team will continue to develop games that their fans will love.

High on Life was surprisingly a hit when it came out for Xbox Series XlS, PC and Xbox Game Pass as it broke records for Microsoft’s service being the most popular game on the platform. High on Life was also the biggest third-party launch in Xbox Game Pass history.
