
Already, 2025 has been a very fulfilling year when it comes to Xbox Game Studios titles hitting the PlayStation 5 store. For the first half of the year already, players have been met with titles likes Forza Horizon 5, Age of Mythology: Retold, Age of Empire II: Definitive Edition as well as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle so far. The forecast is also still projecting more games for this summer as well.
Aiming for next month in August 2025, both Gears of War: Reloaded & Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II are to release as well on the PlayStation Store. However, there is one wrench that was thrown in the machine by PlayStation too. It was recently revealed that Helldivers 2 is aiming to launch of Xbox Series X|S next month too.
But from the Xbox firm, another game is on the horizon for PlayStation 5 – S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You can watch the IGN trailer in the video below:
“GSC Game World’s Xbox Game Studios-backed open world horror shooter launches on PS5 with full support for the DualSense controller’s features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers,” IGN writes. The developer also shared with the outlet: “Further technical enhancements for the PS5 Pro are also in development.”
Since the launch of the game this past fall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl did sell at least one million copies within its first month of release. You can read the full report by heading here.
