NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. made a large announcement during San Diego Comic Con revealing new content coming to Mortal Kombat 1. The Khaos Reigns story DLC will arrive this September and take place after the story campaign’s events.

The Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns DLC will also introduce new playable characters including Noob Saibot and Sektor and Cyrax. Those fighters will make just half of Kombat Pack 2 and will be available first when the expansion releases on September 24.

The other half of Kombat Pack 2 will feature guest fighters including Scream’s Ghostface, Terminator 2’s T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian. NetherRealm did not share a release window for this half of the Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns will launch on September 24 for all available platforms. It will cost $49.99 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. As for the Nintendo Switch, it will cost $39.99.
