Capcom has made an spontaneous announcement that three titles from the Resident Evil franchise will be getting brought over to the Nintendo Switch next year in 2019.

The post on Twitter reads that Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will be coming to Nintendo’s home & portable platform.

Besides the more obvious details, there isn’t much information on the when we might expect the classic titles to appear on the Nintendo eShop. Or even how the publisher plans to bring all three games to the hybrid console. With Resident Evil 4 being the oldest, it shouldn’t be extreme to assume that these will release with reworked versions rather than just being ported to the current gen platform.

As Capcom has mentioned that they will “have more info soon” on the announcement, some of the questions we have will be answered when the time comes. Until then, stick close to Restifygaming.com when more is revealed on the three Resident Evil titles for Nintendo Switch.
