PC Game Pass Launches New Referral Program To Invite Friends To The Service

While the traditional Xbox Game Pass service for console takes the spotlight, the PC Game Pass sibling does illustrate to be unique character of its own in some instances. For one, we saw exclusive PC titles hit the service come QuakeCon last year. This week, the Xbox firm has announced a new referral program is being pushed for the service. The trial includes EA Play and the Riot Games perk to unlock characters & features for published titles.

We know that gaming is best with friends, so today, we’re introducing the Xbox Game Pass Friend Referral offer, which lets Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members give up to five friends a free 14-day PC Game Pass trial.

Invited friends must be new to Game Pass to redeem the free trial. You can find Friend Referral invitations on the Game Pass Home screen in the Xbox App on Windows, just click the “Give PC Game Pass” button to share.

As for other plans for PC Game Pass, the service plans to expand through other ports of entry. In that, an announcement from NVIDIA revealed a new arrangement is underway to offer its titles via GeForce Now is in tow. Already, Microsoft is executing this with its in-house Xbox Cloud Gaming and soon will be offered to even more users for NVIDIA too.

Microsoft the same day also shared a new roster of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for May 2023. Those games include Weird West, Ravenlok, Shadowrun Trilogy, and Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2. You can read the full report by heading here.
