Review: Sony Inzone KBD-H75 Gaming Keyboard

Sony has released its newest Inzone line of products that includes the E9 In-Ear Gaming Monitors, the Mouse-A, and the KBD-H75. We have been able to use the new Inzone keyboard, which is referred to as the KBD-H75, and I’ll be sharing some of my thoughts on it from the time I’ve been able to use it.

Features:

Hands On Impressions

When I first used the Inzone KBD-H75 Gaming Keyboard, one of the first things I noticed was how light it felt. Sony mentioned that it is actually heavier than a typical mechanical keyboard, or at least should be. It doesn’t feel that way. Of course, with this keyboard, the silence on the keys is a big positive, and the responsiveness of each key.

Another neat feature of the KBD-H75 is the volume knob located on the top right, which allows you to adjust the sound on your PC quickly. It’s also worth noting that this keyboard is shorter than your regular home keyboard. I thought I’d have a hard time getting comfortable with the style of this one, but it was an easy adjustment after a couple of games.

Inzone Hub

The Inzone Hub allows you to customize any of your Sony Inzone products, from the headsets to mice, keyboard, and any device Sony has created for its PC Gaming line. The KBD-H75 has a few customization options and has more to offer than the other Inzone peripherals aside from the Mouse-A.

There are the Performance, Allocation, Lighting, and Device Settings you can mess around with. The best part about all of these is the profile settings. I was able to keep a profile for casual use for using my PC for anything else, and then a second profile for gaming only, where I had the WASD keys lit up, along with any other keys I use a lot.

Sony made sure to have as many customization options as possible, and they succeeded with their first gaming keyboard.

Verdict – Should You Purchase It?

From my experience using the Inzone KBD-H75 Gaming Keyboard, I find it comfortable, durable, and responsive, with smooth keys that provide a premium feel. However, I’m hesitant to recommend it at the moment due to its somewhat steep price. That said, it does have some advantages over its competitors. As a casual player rather than a competitive or aspiring professional, I consider these features when making my assessment.
