
Back in August of this year during the second annual Gamescom Opening Night Live show, developer Mediatonic alongside publisher Devolver Digital offered a new trailer for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. In the trailer, the two unveiled what can be expected in the second season for the reality bean experience.
Elaborating on the new theme, players can find an assortment of medieval-themed outfits and stages that will be incorporated into the new season arrive later in the fall. Now in a new post, Mediatonic announces the wait is finally coming to a close starting next week, Thursday to be specific.
On Twitter, the studio made the information public and also went to reveal that there will also be a limited time, double fame event for players to take advantage of when season 2 goes live.
Currently, Fall Guys is still unique to PlayStation 4 & PC – insinuating other platforms cannot experience the title when season 2 arrive in the coming week. Howbeit, it will not be that long of a wait according to recent findings. In that, the game’s source code reveals an Xbox One version already in the works. Additionally, mobile users are expected to indulge in the game, at least that is in China for now.
Following the game’s free month launch on PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Plus free game program, it was reported that Fall Guys has overtaken the spot for the most installed game in the history of the service.
