Back in November, developer Arc System Works finished off the final addition to Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Season 2 roster with the debut of the infamous Broly officially being an available character to play on the 2018-released title. With the amount of noise that continuously surround the popular fighter, surely we should expect that the studio alongside publisher Bandai Namco are preparing for yet another season of new things coming to the game.

Now in an announcement earlier this month, Bandai Namco made a proper announcement which disclosed the first two additions to the FighterZ cast of characters: Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku. You can watch the full trailer below:

Slating five new fighters that will be coming to the game over the course of Season 3, Kefla will be the first to arrive at the end of the month on February 28 next Friday. As for the anticipated new iteration of franchise protagonist Goku, neither the developer nor publisher has yet to detail when his arrival will be scheduled.

Dissecting the video a bit more, the trailer illustrates to also include Caulifla which seemingly confirms her debut for the game prematurely. Even more, both Kefla and Caulifla are both part of Team Universe 6, so perhaps there is a pattern forming for more characters from that group to also be inaugurated to the fighting game later on in 2020?

What other additions would you hope to expect from Season 3 for FighterZ?

Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
