
From South Korea, developer Shift Up has left a lasting impression with its IP Stellar Blade upon its release in 2024. βAt its core, Stellar Blade blends fast-paced combat with immersive exploration. Following its release on PlayStation 5, the game has went on to ship for PC. there are even reports on a Nintendo Switch 2 version as well. Within the gameβs first week on PC, over one million units were already sold then. It was also reported from the response to Stellar Blade swiftly greenlit a sequel for the developer alongside confirming the PC version at the time.
Now recently in March, it was revealed that Shift Up is now buying up new talent. It was announced that Shinji Mikamiβs Unbound is now a subsidiary under Shift Up. Makami previously departed from Tango Gameworks back in 2023. You can watch the Partnership Announcement video below:
