Dune: Awakening Reveals Physical Edition For PlayStation 5

Developer and publisher Funcom released a new video diving deep into Dune: Awakening as it plans to make it available for consoles on September 22. They also announced that the PlayStation 5 version of Dune: Awakening will be getting a physical edition.

The physical version of Dune: Awakening is being created in partner ship with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and will be available across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. With Solutions 2 GO Inc handling the copies for North America and South America. They also plan to release in retail in Japan with a publisher that is to be announced later.

Dune: Awakening has been available on PC since June 10, 2025. On September 22, it will be available on XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The Standard Edition will cost $49.99 at launch.

In other news, Sony announced it will end physical disc production for all its PlayStation games starting in 2028. It has gotten fans and retailers disappointed in this move by Sony. There have been no comments made about this decision thus far.
