Super Bomberman Collection Arrives Today For Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2

As of recent, Konami has been associated with AAA releases like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater as well as Silent Hill f. However, the team for years prior to these massive launches also shipped an ample amount of Bomberman titles before. Super Bomberman R came and went with the servers being severed in 2022, however, there was still more underway.

In 2023, Super Bomberman R 2 arrived and unlike its predecessor, the game did not arrive as an exclusive release to limit its audience. One title that did, but found better success was Amazing Bomberman. The title shipped on Apple Arcade which reached a much broader playerbase across Apple devices for iOS, MacOS, iPad OS, and more.

Now this week, Super Bomberman is back and this time is releasing with an entire suite of title to choose from in Super Bomberman Collection; arriving today. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:

“Party battle game Super Bomberman is now available as a collection featuring seven titles with 12 versions – including the previously unreleased localized versions of Super Bomberman 4 and Super Bomberman 5! Including Boss Rush mode, support features, libraries, and more, players can also join up to three other players via GameShare to share in the explosive fun!” the overview reads.

The entire collection includes legacy releases: Bomberman, Bomberman 2, Super Bomberman, Super Bomberman 2,  Super Bomberman 3, Super Bomberman 4, and Super Bomberman 5. Currently, the collection is only available across both Nintendo Switch consoles with no details if that list will grow later on.
