Xbox One console has been out for almost 3 years, hundreds of games later, and today we will pick 10 games you SHOULD be playing right now if you own Microsoft’s console.
#IDARB
Looking for a fun party game that you can play together with a group of friends at your house? Look no further, #IDARB is probably one of the best party indie games on the Xbox One. #IDARB is a great mix of soccer, super smash bros and overall just fun, the game features half time games and the best part about the game random hashbombs could appear while playing or even when you stream your viewers can have a say in your game. Built with the input of thousands of crazed internet gamers, #IDARB is a chaotic 8-player eSport jumping future arena ball game.

Ryse: Son of Rome:
One of the more Xbox One exclusives that should get more attention is Ryse: Son of Rome, a third-person action-adventure hack and slash video game. From playing the entire game start to finish and playing co-op with one other friend, the game is stunning and very fun on its multiplayer. Nothing is more fun than stabbing and hurting enemies throughout Rome.
Fun fact: Ryse was set to be a first person Kinect-only title for the Xbox 360. The game’s development started in 2006 and eventually launched in 2013.

Rocket League:
Rocket League is another game that you can enjoy casually and competitively even though it a while for the game to launch on Xbox One it was well worth the wait. Psyonix and the Xbox team brought some exclusive vehicles such as the Warthog from Halo into Rocket League. Rocket League features several modes like soccer, hoops, and hockey. The game has reached a high number of players alone on Xbox and recently they introduced cross-play with PC there is no official word on if Sony will buy into that yet.

Titanfall:
Titanfall was one of the first big multiplayer games to launch on the Xbox One back in 2014. The game only featured multiplayer and had no real campaign. Most of us on the team had spent a ton of hours playing the game and had a blast. Recently, we found out that the game sold 7 million units and that was great considering it was an Xbox console exclusive. Respawn should be excited for the Titanfall 2 release as it will be on PS4 this time. From what we’ve played Titanfall 2 feels even better especially with the new features it brings and new Titans… PlayStation 4 users are in for a treat!

Sunset Overdrive:
Sunset Overdrive is an open world third-person shooter video game that is exclusive to the Xbox One. The games multiplayer didn’t last very long, but the single player was a success. There was nothing like grinding on the side of buildings and killing enemies at the same time. If you are a completionist this game is perfect for you since there are a ton of collectibles around the game such as Billboards (Taggings), Fizzco Security Cameras, Fizzie Balloons, High Points, Overcharge Hologram Signs, Satellites, Scraps of Toilet Paper, Shoes, Smartphones and UFOs.

Life is Strange
Life Is Strange is an episodic graphic adventure video game where you play as Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment. This game caught me off guard since I’m not into episodic games, but I’m really glad I could experience one of the best games this generation has to offer. You feel a lot of emotions – sadness, happiness, confusion, mindblowing moments. Each character has an amazing development throughout the 5 episodes making title worth every minute of your life. Also, the first episode is FREE on Xbox One!

Halo 5: Guardians
Halo 5 is the complete opposite of Halo 4. It has the best multiplayer experience since Halo 2, but a not so great campaign. Since launch 343 has been supporting the game with free DLC including new modes, new maps, new weapon, new skins, new vehicles, etc…They brought the pure 4v4 competitive Arena that everyone loves. Warzone is a whole different experience you can get with Halo 5. It features the biggest Halo maps ever made, PVP battles, custom loadouts in which you can start with any weapon you want as long you have it unlocked. It’s also being sold very cheaply at retailers and it’s a game you shouldn’t miss for any reason.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection
“Wait, you are picking that broken game?” Yes, I’m choosing Halo MCC for a simple reason: It’s mostly fixed by now. So for those folks who didn’t play the game at launch day let me tell you it was a mess of a title. Multiplayer barely worked, couldn’t invite friends to play, abundant crashes to the dashboard, a lot of bugs within each game, it was a serious nightmare for a huge Halo fan like me. Almost 2 years later, It’s a totally worth game. It has 5 multiplayer games that actually works, 5 campaign (if you count Halo 3: ODST) games, Forge mode in Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4, running 1080p/60fps. It’s being sold very cheaply at retailers and please grab the game if you haven’t!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3 has won GOTY title in 2015 for a great reason: It’s an amazing game. Played in a third-person perspective, players control protagonist Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a witcher, who sets out on a long journey through the Northern Kingdoms.In the game, players battle against the world’s many dangers using swords and magic, while interacting with non-player characters and completing side quests and main missions to progress through the story.
It offers hundreds of hours of playtime, very interesting main quests, side quests and mini games. If you like RPG games, this title is for you.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six Siege is a first person tactical shooter puts heavy importance on environmental destruction and co-operation between players. Players take control of an operator from the Rainbow team, a counter-terrorist unit. Different operators have different nationalities, perks, bombs and gadgets. It’s a different shooter from what you are used to. In this game, rushing your way to the objective is not always an ideal way to win the match since stealth is an important factor here. You can break structures by planting explosives on them, or shoot walls to make bullet holes. The environments of the game feature a layered material system, in which environmental objects of different materials show different reactions to player’s attack. It’s an amazing multiplayer experience and it portrays the feeling of dealing with Hostages situations.
