Gunfire Games announced that the third installment in the Darksiders franchise will be coming later this Fall. As we’re still more than a month away until the game’s release date, THQ Nordic announced some details for the first two DLCs coming to the title following its launch.
Taking it to Twitter for the announcement, it’s announced that more content will be included for the upcoming DLCs for the game.
Darksiders III invites you into the Serpent Holes! The 2 DLCs, The Crucible and Keepers of the Void, will introduce new puzzles, weapons, enemies and armor and will be included in the Deluxe, Blades & Whip, Collector's and Apocalypse Edition. Available at a later date. pic.twitter.com/bAHEw9g96q

First mentioned DLC The Crucible puts protagonist Fury into an battle arena where she must fight off hordes of enemies to reach the end to be rewarded greatly. Second DLC Keepers of the Void has you in search for an ancient threat that might emerge. You will run into obstacles like puzzles and threatening enemies when in the Serpent Holes. Completing this will give you new weapons and armor.
What wasn’t mentioned is when we will see the two DLCs available for the game. Left only with “available at a later date”, it’s expected we might see The Crucible debut in early 2019.
It’s reassuring that content will be coming to the game after it releases in late-November. It was mentioned by the game’s Senior Designer that the series “plan was always four”, meaning we will see one more title after this.
Darksiders III is set to launch on November 27, 2018Â for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
