15 new 8 player stages are now available in Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Nintendo have released a free update for Super Smash Bros which adds 15 new stages for the new 8 player mode that is exclusive to the Wii U version of the game. This brings the game to version 1.0.2, and the download size comes to 316MB. The stages that now work in 8 player mode are as follows:

Regular stages

• Mario Circuit (X)
• Luigi’s Mansion
• Pyrosphere
• Norfair
• Lylat Cruise
• Pokémon Stadium 2
• Animal Crossing – Town and City
• Animal Crossing – Smashville
• Wii Fit Studio

Final Destination stages

• Mario Galaxy
• Mario Circuit (X)
• Kirby: The Great Cave Offensive
• Lylat Cruise
• Pokémon Stadium 2
• Animal Crossing – Town and City

The free Miiverse stage that was announced during the Smash direct is not available in this update but it is expected to be released sometime in the near future, possibly along with the Mewtwo DLC.
