To say Apex Legends is still very much adamant if receiving new content, that would be an understatement. Now touching close to almost two years since the game’s surprise release, the latest major addition came through Season 7’s third location, Olympus. ‘Ascension’ alongside the new map also welcomed Legend Horizon and the first ever vehicle, the trident. But, of course, events are to follow suit.
It was just this past holiday that Respawn Entertainment paraded the return of the train to World’s Edge with the Holiday Express making a comeback for year-end festivities. But now that a new year is finally present, another event is due for the continued battle royale. By running off the latest ‘Fight Night’ Stories from the Outlands video, the newest event takes after the plot and expands on Olympus with a Pathfinder twist.
You can watch the trailer for the Fight Night Collection Event in the video below:
As we might expect, a new limited-time game mode is to hit lobbies when the event arrives this Tuesday. Dubbed ‘Airdrop Escalation’, the new mode is to replace traditional “Play Apex” with supply drops being more frequent. Howbeit, the speed of the drops are to be similar to Lifeline care packages, so time your looting.
Additionally, Olympus also welcomes a new Pathfinder-inspired town which includes a statue of his springy boxing glove and a complete ring for Legends to duke it out in. Most excitingly, Gibraltar is also told to receive his own heirloom – Bula Drn. Fight Night Collection Event commences on January 5.
What has you most excited for the latest Apex Legends event?
