While Nintendo continues to capitalize on its moneymaking Nintendo Switch video game platform with the announcement of the Nintendo Switch OLED Model arriving this fall, the Japanese company is also making moves within the mobile platform as well. Titles such as Super Mario Run and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp are prime examples of the games that Nintendo has attempted to reach within the past.

Proven success shows to be the namely Mario Kart Tour that proved to be an instant hit – accumulating over 20 million installs within the first 24 hours of hitting Android & iOS. But, the game did happen to come up short compared to the juggernaut that is Call of Duty: Mobile shortly after. One game that holds little presence is Dr. Mario World. Tailing off the original Dr. Mario, it arrived in fall 2019 and is on the way out this holiday.

At the start of November, Nintendo plans to pull the plug for all versions of Dr. Mario World, the firm announces in an update post on the game’s website. But, there is bad news for that. Unlike a traditional delisting, Dr. Mario World will be unplayable regardless if you have the game installed already.

“If you start up the Dr. Mario World game after the game’s service has ended, an end-of-service notification will be displayed and you will not be able to play the game. You will be able to look back at your play history in Dr. Mario World Memories, which is a web page that will become available after the game’s service ends.”

Are In recent news, Nintendo happened to denounce any hopeful speculation of a new Nintendo Switch model following the release of the OLED Model. In that, the firm tells that there is no plans to make an announcement anytime soon which rains on the parade of those hoping for a Nintendo Switch Pro of sorts.
