Enter Call of Duty, one of the most popular first-person shooters and IPs on this planet. It came at no surprise when Activision & Tencent were collaborating for a native port for mobile. Within its first week the free-to-play experience welcomed more than 100 million players. By the end of its first month, it was reported the game outperformed the recently new Mario Kart Tour as well at the time.
At no surprise, this is not the only game tackling mobile as well in the same genre. In that, Apex Legends is also working at a mobile version too. The port is currently in a limited release state with select regions. However, the recent pre-registration launching on Google Play Store does suggest Electronic Arts is close to establishing the global release for the game.
In a recent announcement from Activision this month, Call of Duty Warzone is on the map for a native mobile port too. The firm announced it will be hiring for a bevy of new developers to tackle this venture bringing yet another Call of Duty game to smart phones.

Additionally, Battlefield is also underway for a mobile game elsewhere. Originally, DICE & Electronic Arts revealed the project is in motion back in summer 2020.
