Concerning Xbox Game Pass, it was officially remarked that the service is profitable. In a statement from Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, he expressed that the monthly subscription has grossed capital despite ongoing criticisms about the structure of the business model. Even Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick commented that it makes no sense despite the success of the service.

As for titles coming to it so far, games including Sommerville, Return To Monkey Island, and Pentiment all shipped for the beginning part of November 2022.
