Kingdom Hearts 4 receives new trailer, confirmed to release on Switch 2

Square Enix shocked the world at the Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026. They revealed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at the same time as XBOX Series, PlayStation 5, and PC when the time eventually comes.

The new Kingdom Hearts 4 gameplay trailer gives us a look at some of the characters including Sora and the others he will meet in the mysterious city of Quadratum. Sora will once again journey to realms, where new figures cross his path and new powers awaken his next chapter.

Square Enix did not reveal any other information about Kingdom Hearts IV. They did announced that Kingdom Hearts Collection (I-III) is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, XBOX Series, PlayStation 5 and PC.
