Dead Island 2 has been a game that many fans have been looking forward to. Back In August it was revealed that the game would be coming in February 2023, but now it’s being pushed back a little further.

Deep Silver announced through a statement on social media that the team needed just a little more time to polish up the game.

“The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is not lost on us, and we are disappointed as you undoubtedly are. The delay is just 12 short weeks and development is on the final straight now; we’re going to take the time we need to make sure we can launch a game we’re proud to launch. For those of you who’ve been waiting for years, thank you for hanging in there with us.”

With that being said there will be a new trailer and gameplay shown at the Dead Island 2 Showcase on December 6th on Twitch & YouTube.
