September 14, 2023, will go down as a day full of digital presentations hosted by a couple of the biggest companies in the video game industry. Nintendo announced they’ll be hosting a Direct on Thursday at 10 AM ET and now Sony has announced a State of Play presentation will be held on the same day, but at a later time.

The September State of Play will focus on indie and third-party games and will take place at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. You can watch on YouTube, Twitch or TikTok. No news has been shared about the games being shown at this event.

Even though Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases on October 20 and is PlayStation’s next big title, it doesn’t look like anything of that game will be at this event.

What do you think Sony will showcase during the next State of Play?
